TabTrade — The Short Version
Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that range is broad.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That will make the platform set when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not make it safe. But be part of your decision.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
